What People's Say About Place

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem by accident. We took a wrong turn and decided to grab a bite. It quickly became our go-to spot. We can’t go a month without returning. The staff is exceptional, with the hostess being the most delightful person I’ve ever met. There’s also a younger gentleman who occasionally hosts and is incredibly friendly. We’ve tried almost every dish on the menu, and every single one is a 5-star experience. We often end up battling over what to order because everything is so delicious. The drinks are equally impressive, ranging from top-notch to downright amazing. They even provide complimentary chips and dips, which are always a hit. The dessert menu is simply one of the best in New York City. This place is my absolute favorite dining destination when I’m in the city.

Restaurant is lovely and colorful. The guacamole and salsa verse are delicious. Had the steak and pork fajitas - pork was a bit chewy but the steak was just right and so were the fajita veggies. On pony cafe con leche! Great service.

Was craving tex mex baddd and being from Texas, that’s a hard craving to satisfy in NYC. Maz Mezcal honestly did not do a bad job, I enjoyed this meal. I got the Enchiladas Combinadas platter which featured three different enchiladas, rice, and refried beans. The chicken and cheese enchiladas were pretty good. Seasoning on the chicken was nice and the red sauce worked well with it. The beef enchilada I thought was just fine and lacked a bit of depth to it. Rice was fine and beans were great. I also got chips and the Salsa Verde on the side which was also okay. I did love the flavor and heat of the salsa but it was very runny and hard to scoop up with the chips. To drink I had a virgin Frozen Blackberry Marg which was refreshing!

Been coming to this restaurant for 15 years. Have always enjoyed the food. And the atmosphere on the service. Unfortunately they are closing Saturday and moving to a new location. So had to come for one less building before they close. As usual everything was delicious from the fajitas to the queso. Highly recommend any steak dish- the meal is high quality and no chewy weird pieces. The chips and salsa are delicious and not too spicy at all!

This spot has personality that matches its good food. Employees show genuine kindness and address all situations. Satisfying dishes, better prices than most places and people who work with you. Their menu satisfies with flavor, maintains freshness, and impresses visually. This spot lives up to every promise!

Very good food, Especially their pork chops , their pork chops were tender ,and you ll love their chicken quesadella, not a fan of the color decorations of the place and a bit tight, and their prices are decent, great and friendly staff

Never disappoints. Food is the best and actually something you’d love to enjoy! Freshest around and their grilled meats and fish deserve 5 Stars of their own. We now come w our daughter and her family and my husband and I came here before she was born!

My whole family loves Maz, and it's easy to see why. Amazing food and drinks, plus the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. My aunt booked the backroom for my cousin's graduation party and it turned out amazing. Can't wait to come back!
